Agenda System

The purpose of the Agenda System is to assist students with organization and to ensure the incorporation of systematic processes to promote optimum student learning.
- All students will be given an Agenda at the start of school.
- Students may replace lost Agendas.
- Students may purchase a replacement Agenda in the Guidance Office as long as supplies last. Cost = $6.00.
- The student and parent handbook is in the front of the Agenda.
- Goal setting and record of achievement pages are in the front of the Agenda.
- Teachers will train students how to use the Agenda effectively.
- It is the child’s responsibility to show notes from the teacher to parents and have them signed.
- It is the child’s responsibility to show notes from the parents to teachers and have them signed indicating that they have read the note.
- If a parent requests that the teacher sign the Agenda Book, it is the child’s responsibility to bring the Agenda to the teacher at the end of class for a signature. Students should not go back to classes for signatures.
- If the teacher is signing the Agenda, then parents/guardians must also sign the book. This is to be done after the parent/guardian checks to see that homework is complete, placed in the proper folders, zipped in the trapper keeper, and put in the book bag.
- The Hallway Passport in the back of the Agenda is to be used as the student’s pass.
- With teacher permission students are to complete all information for their pass then the teacher will sign.
- Permanent passes to the nurses’ office need to be taped inside the cover of the Agenda.
- Passes to the Wellness Center will be in teachers’ mailboxes before homeroom. Students are still to complete the Hallway Passport before being dismissed to the center.
