Porter heads to Girls Nation
Spends a week in DC in July
Congratulations to rising Cab senior Rose Porter! At Delaware’s Girls State last week (June 16-24), Porter was elected Governor of the Nationalist Party. She was later appointed Secretary of State, and at the concluding banquet, learned she would be one of two Delaware delegates to Girls Nation.
Girls Nation is a simulated national government program where two girls from each state gather in Washington, DC, for a week in July to compete and develop legislation.
